Because we don't mass-produce. Each piece is cut and sewn by hand in our studio, from rescued materials that will never exist again: a vintage tapestry, denim with twenty years of life, a found lace. That combination can't be repeated, so when a piece sells there is no restock. It isn't artificial scarcity; it's the nature of working with what already exists.

We work in limited drops of 1 to 7 numbered, named pieces. The pace is set by the process: finding materials, sanitizing, deconstructing, and rebuilding them by hand takes weeks, and we won't rush that at the cost of quality. Join the newsletter for early access before each release.

Sizes vary from piece to piece. Sometimes the size is set by the rescued material itself: we work within the dimensions the original garment allows. The exact size and measurements are on each piece's page. Unsure about fit? Write to us before buying: we know every piece by heart.

We walk Mexico City looking for garments and textiles with potential: silk, wool, linen, denim, gabardine, high-end nylon. We look for materials that deserve a second chance, fabrics that show their age and turn it into character. Everything is sanitized and cleaned before being deconstructed and rebuilt in the studio.

We ship throughout Mexico. Each piece is prepared and packed by hand in the studio, not in a warehouse, so it may take a couple of days longer than usual. Cost and estimated delivery time are calculated at checkout. Outside Mexico? Email hola@rena.studio and we'll find a way to get it to you.

Every piece is one of a kind: if it comes back, it can't be restocked or resold as new the way it could at a mass-production brand. That's why we only accept returns for manufacturing defects, reported within 7 days of delivery. Email hola@rena.studio with photos and we'll reply within 48 hours. Before buying, ask us anything: we'd rather answer questions than process returns.

A piece made by hand from rescued materials asks a little more care than mass-produced clothing, and repays it in years of life. Each piece comes with instructions for its specific materials; as a rule: hand wash or dry clean, cold water, dry in the shade. The natural wear of rescued fabrics isn't a flaw: it's part of their story.
